Marley® WaterGard™ is Ready to Start Conserving Cooling Tower Water Usage
The SPX Cooling team has officially introduced Marley® WaterGard™, a water usage optimizer that helps reduce wastewater and overall water usage on packaged evaporative cooling products. WaterGard uses membrane technology to pre-condition cooling tower water and limit salt (i.e. chlorides, calcium carbonate, silica, etc.) introduction into the tower, therefore reducing necessary blowdown water.
In certain areas, WaterGard could reduce wastewater by as much as 88%, making evaporative cooling towers a much more attractive option for engineers and operators concerned with water usage. And, by enabling equipment operation at increased cycles of concentration (COC), it can help contribute to LEED points and other sustainable building initiatives, too.

Recruitment and Hiring Continues at Olathe Facility, with a Little Help from Local KC News
SPX/Marley is actively looking to increase the workforce and staff all the best “makers” we can find, especially at our manufacturing plant in Olathe, Kansas. Watch below, or help us spread the word by sending potential candidates to spxcooling.com/olathejobs.
Marley "Smart Solution" in Houston Gets Highlighted in MCAA Newsletter
The Lyric building’s downtown Houston location posed problems for local crane operators and even helicopters, so Graco Mechanical found one of only two available cranes in the state that could handle the job—allowing them to meet the extremely tight deadline for cooling tower installation.
